DinkC's CIN equivalent
hey guys does anyone know if C++'s cin command has an equivalent in DinkC? Thanks
From googling I gather that cin waits for keyboard input, if that's correct then there are ways to do it. Unfortunately DinkC can't store strings so it may not be exactly what you want.
1) Wait_for_button() will tell you if certain keys are pressed.
2) Use key-##.c scripts.
3) Use a system like the riddle scripts in Initiation or Pilgrim's Quest.
That's all I can think of, hope it's useful

Nothing like what you ask(it might possibly be implemented on Dink 1.09, correct me if wrong), but you can see some input examples in Cast Awakening/Pilgrim's Quest, and a smart way to convert strings into numbers on Someone's article.
Hope this helps
