Now we all think of small microbes as disgusting. They look so odd being see through with lots of wierd colored and shaped organelles. Not to mention alot of them cause various diseases and disorders. However what if they were covered in soft plush with bright colors? Even better what if they were large enough to hug?

Could you imagine the look on someones face if you bought them one of these as a gift?

I thought they were still a bit tiny to hug. You know, fist-size or so?
The mad cow one continues to bother me. The coloring is too obvious. The rest are pretty neat. Rabies and the fat cell, especially (I hadn't seen the cell ones before, I've always looked at these on ThinkGeek.com)

i only checked the front page, but few looked like their real organism. and a... bookworm???

Obvious or not, it was clearly the most humorous approach in that particular case.
