I don't know how but in some screens in my D-Mod hardness just disapeared! ??!?? Does anyone know what's going on?

Did you changed the hard.dat file?

What kind of hardness did disapear?

If it's just sprite hardness check your DINK.ini file, I had some problems with the DINK.ini file in the past...

It's the white hardnes not the lines for caves and such but the ones that you use for houses. The strange thing is it only disapeared in some places. For example the castle that I made has hardness left on just a few spots and for some houses the hardness completly disapeared.

You use WinDinkEdit or DinkEdit?
I have the problem with WinDInkEdit sometimes when the hardness disappears at some places. If you have the same problem try restarting WinDinkEdit.

I use WinDinkEdit. But I already saved the D-Mod when the hardness disapeared. I've also made a backup before the problem so the hardness can be restored but I want to know what's causing it and what to do about it.

Did you do any hardness in windinkedit to make your castle?

I had similar problems a few times before, for me it was caused by running my DMOD while WinDinkEdit was still turned on. (atleast I believe it was)

Aha I think I got it now. The hardness goes away when you change the tile the hardness is on.
