New Misc File: Ice Orb Spell
Haven't you tested this? When I equip the ice-orb spell, Dink crashes.
that's just the version of dink your using...you should have read the readme.txt file. it works fine in v1.07. here's how you can fix it if you're using v1.08...go to item-iorb.c and take out the ini lines
Oh, really? Cool... tested it fine with RC5 (yet to be released) after I fixed a similar crashing bug in Mayhem.
Neat little spell you've got here... it's functional, it's blue, it's spiffy. Makes me long for some Pepsi Blue.
The only quirks I see: Dink's fists are still orange/red when firing it, though he does at least glow some shade of blue, which is a nice touch and indicates that you weren't super-lazy in the construction of this; and if you start a new game after dying with the ice orb spell equipped, then fire a fireball or hellfire ball in the new game, Dink's icy blue glow persists (oh, such a grievous misfortune!). Overall, I approve.

woops, didn't think about that one, i had it set up so it only switches back when disarmed
working on it now, fixed the problem, but somethings wrong...i loaded 4 spells in start1.c, but when you pull up the inventory menu and select a spell other than the 1st one, the little purple selected box doesn't come up around it, and when you save and load the game, the spell is no longer equiped, it works up until then.
okay w/e i just uploaded v1.02, i don't think there's anything i can do about that little problem.
