Several times my screen goes black, and I have to quit and reload. The guy's still there (judging by his dialogue), but I cannot see anything. Is this a funtion of the Win32-whatever-thing? Or is it a bug?

Hmm, are you using a shortcut to the 32-bit dink? Or does this happen right after the intro?

I has happened several times, and in different places (after killing Dink, so the whole courtroom scene was dark; when I returned to my house after selling the farm; and twice, just walking around). I just used the old FrontEnd to load the game.

Hm, instead of using a frontend, try a command prompt such as: C:\Program Files\dink smallwood\dink.exe -window -game outlndr -truecolor -dinkpal

Or something along those lines. Look in the "+/-" thread to see other examples.

EDIT: Or what I do: make a shortcut to the 32-bit windowed mode dink.exe and in the target after the file location put: -window -game outlndr
