Dreams...

A dream I had:
*
Im standing in what looks like a very well-kept building. Im on the first floor of a tall skyscraper. There are large glass doors where proffessional people are coming and going and a circular desk where a man is taking phone calls. Behind me is another set of doors that lead to what looks like an indoor mall. In front of me behind the desk is a large viewing panel about the size of truck. Minutes pass by and I simply watch (from third person perspective). I look as if Im waiting for something to happen. The man behind the desk suddenly gets off the phone and motions for me. I step toward him and notice he is Asian...he says something vague like "Are you sure you want to see it?" I somehow agree and the panel turns on. I look into it...

There are about eight people standing in line in an office. They are all heading towards a door in a room plated with polished wood. They all appear very normal...until the person in back suddenly attacks the person in front of them (only one person) martial arts style. A fight ensues as the rest of the line ignores them. They fight this way until the last person in line (who started the fight) dies and just so happens to touch the next person in line...who then starts to fight the surviving person. (the second to last) This goes on until there are three people left in line and I notice the first person in line...is me. I simply walk into the center of the from and interrupt the battle. Everyone looks at me (even those dead on the floor) and some of them respond. I cant quite remember, but its things like "Gasp!" "What are you doing?!" "How dare you interrupt!" "...you have no honor or respect coward!" I pause for a few seconds and hold up some sort of lunchbox sized device. Suddenly the whole room is in flames.

The next thing Im aware of is that I can see a tranquil forest scene with a flowing brook. With my view close to the ground near where the water meets a grassy area I can see the last scene (in the office) reflected in the water. As the people die from first to sixth flowers sprout and bloom in the grass. They are normal looking, but beautiful flowers. Then as I see myself in the water as the room goes up in flames a ring of flowers burst from the ground...right in the middle of the ring a pungent black spot appears. It writhes up...a flower that appears diseased and rotten yet somehow capable of growing. The brown petals slough off...revealing a stamen in the shape of a skull. It oozes and melts into a dark bile. Thats when I notice that this tranguil forest looks very dark and the trees block out the sunlight. I hear a voice. I cannot remember what it said, but it was angry and spoke a complain directly at me. I think it said "Is this what you wanted?"
*

Thats why when you wake up you should just get up and not try to go back to sleep. You fall into and out of sleep so much your mostly in the REM stage and dream the whole time.

Sincerely Freaked Out,
The Vault Dweller

If your dream is a prediction, then I'm guessing in the future, you get impatient or mad and then you "suicide" with that lunchbox sized bomb and your dream shows you the forest which looks green and peaceful. The flower tells you that people (maybe in hundreds) will die. The forest darkening is as though something exploded like a nuke, it leaves a lifeless contaminated wasteland. The voice, complaining "is this what you wanted"? Is obviously referring to the destroyed forest. Just stay away from explosives from now on

If you awaken in a bright and warm forest, that is aleseyum, and you are dead, and perhaps better than the rest of us.

Russel crow had this line in gladiator, but some people think caesar may have said this during his generalling days before vini vidi vici

Perhaps it is all symbolic, perhaps the building is an established system, the conflict is foolish infighting and the explosion is revolution, I of course colour all of this with my own thoughts and opinions and your psyche is definitly nothing like mine (I have epilepsy and aspergers a very high function form of autism, this seriously tweaks my view of the universe and has my dreams end up with salvador dahli type landscapes)

Whatever it means (it may mean nothing) it was obviously unsettling for you to post it on a forum so why don't you shuffle through your own thoughts and memories and figure out for yourself what it means, no one knows you better than you.

I see your vini vidi vici and raise you a Que sera sera. And isn't it veni vidi vici?

Dreams from the past two nights:

1. I was at school on our maths lesson and enjoying some lovely examples. All of a sudden, my notebook is full! There are no pages for math, since I've drawn some pencil sketches of people everywhere. I check my paper folder as well, and that's full of sketches as well. Oh no! When I come home, I can't find any paper either, just some more drawings, until finally I'm able to dig up some cross-ruled paper from my closet (where I never keep any paper).

2. This night I dreamt about cutting my hair. They're pretty long, so it shouldn't have hurt, but suddenly when I cut it it was only about chin length. Then I screamed about it in my dream (whereas in real life I wouldn't really care, it was very odd).

There you go, now interpret those. They're less interesting that VautlDweller's, though..

Ooh fun fun.I love this game.

I think Sharp's dreams are about things changing suddenly and drastically. And that's pretty scary!

P.S. I trump Vortex's 'Carpe Diem' with a 'Fee Fi Fo Fum' LOL

1) You're worried that you need to stay focused on whatever current issues are and not get sidetracked (Like I am right now - I need to finish my homework). You like to have fun sometimes but get things done in the end, no matter how they're done.

2) You are very close to many people and losing a close one (or just communication with them) would scare you tremendously.

There.
