Re: Hance's Review of my Ini Rewrite
For starters I simply copied most of the available slots from the skeleton s, so don't blame me for them being wrong. Secondly I have managed to put some dragons in the 850s before and they worked. Also the other files you are talking about are already easily available and so there is no need for me to put them in it. Also since all I did was move the physical location of command lines, not changing the sprite numbers, there is no need for me to touch them up.
Good try hance, however, you got a B for effort on this one.

Just because something works for you, doesn't mean it will work for everybody else. The ways of the Dink are very mysterious indeed.
Good try Dradonic, but you were kicked out of class for putting chewing gum in that girls hair. You she dog.

There's no need to defend yourself for what someone has written in his review; the reviewer judges the file for what it's worth in his/her opinion - if something works for you, it's up to you to make a clear readme or something so that everyone has clear instructions on how to make it work for them. In the end, it doesn't matter how you put the file together but it's about the final result that you release Note that I don't have the file in question so I can't say anything about that though
Good point, but just because something doesn't work for hance doesn't mean it won't work for others.
Well actually there was no intent to defend, simply to explain a few things.
Your point on the readme is valid, which is why I have made a new version that corrects that omission form the original Ini as I said in a earlier post. But since that and a minor edit to the Credits file is all it is I see no point in releasing it until I make a more significant upgrade.

"Loses Points For: having the same lack of depth as skelton b
Which is why I am making a improved version."
dont give criticism like this until you learn to take it yourself

no one should be insulting skeleton b, its been the basis of the last 5 years of dmods... oh yeah... I'm back... again... is perpetual...
Anyone who learns to make genuinely good D-Mods can usually overcome Skeleton B's few shortcomings anyway, so...

Sure but it takes more trouble than to make your dmod from the scratch.

I used skeleton B.It was nice for a n00b like
me.
me.
The problem is it doesn't have all the graphics the original dink.ini has. Otherwise, sure, it's helpful for new dinkers and saves some trouble especially in the title screen area.
Dude... take these things with a pinch of salt and you will be a lot happier
'a pinch of salt'
No, no, we all use to much salt already!
Take it with a pinch of pepper!

pepper is nasty...take it with a pinch of ketchup
Some people mix pepper into ketchup. That's so weird. I've never understood them.
I know a guy who puts mustard in rice porridge. Yeeeeech!! And he says it's really good.
Hard Cheese, chocolate and ketchup in the mircowave, for 45 seconds, on high. Yum Yum!
If you can't tell, that was sarcasm.

Ah, come to think of it... I could've replied this to DraconicDink's post too. How handy.
