Something wrong with Dinkedit
Whenever i use Dinkedit, i "quit and save" and it won't save! I can't find where you edit the depth dot in Windinkedit... can someone help?
Rclick the files you are trying to save over. Open 'properties' and see if the 'read only' box is checked. (uncheck it) and merry christmas.

They were already unchecked
And merry christmas to you too!
And merry christmas to you too!

How long is the DMOD Folder name? I forget whether dinkedit chdirs into the folder or not, but it could certainly make a difference (especially since Seth uses the icky icky CString and not the wonderful std::string class).
Okay, it seems to not save the depth dot (which i need it to do), but it does save other things. I am about 98.42% done my first dmod
Your depth dots propably don't work because the SET_SPRITE_INFOs are on the same line in dink.ini.
Okay, this is REALLY frustrating! Dink wont read the darn INI file!!
The number of SET_SPRITE_INFO lines in the dink.ini file is limited.
Maybe you have too many of them so the last ones are ignored.
Maybe you have too many of them so the last ones are ignored.
That might be it, unless you have yet download and run INIclean.
One can exceed the limit using SET_SPRITE_INFO for too many different sprites. Does INIclean fix that too?
Nah but unless he's INIcleaned his dmod already there's almost surely some space left.
