did 1.93 really not prompt people to update or anything? just had to scrounge around a thread here to find it on seth's dead site?
I just installed 1.93 from DN as a test and it did prompt to get the new version just fine.

I got the prompt too indeed when I tested it a while ago.
It's strange in millimeter's recent thread, he talks as if he was never prompted, says he could not figure out how to get the new DinkHD!
Oh well, it's updated now here as well anyway. I'll keep an eye out and throw any future update of DinkHD up on the DN as well.

Sounds good. The only reasons I can think of why it wouldn't update is its internet access was blocked (clicked no to a firewall prompt or something, or running through wine etc while set without internet access) or it was a beta build.
BTW: iPhone version almost ready for submission, like the Android version, it now has full Bluetooth controller and keyboard support. I guess I should probably update the html/web version (not sure if anybody actually uses that but...) then I guess we'll be in a good place for HD's compatibility.

While we're on the topic of dink hd, is there any possibility we could change the controls on mobile? The current layout kinda sucks, with it being kinda hard to control dink accurately. I was thinking we could replace the movement buttons with a joystick with adjustable deadzone.
In case another update is done in future, add this minor bug fix to the todo list:
- Text created with "say()" (or similar comands... say_xy, say_stop, etc), appears on top of choice menus. Choice menus should be drawn over everything I think, that's the way it works in 1.08 and FreeDink.

One thing bugs me in Dink Smallwood HD is the fixed selection of resolution for the game. Any chance to pick the resolution that is supported by the monitor instead? Playing it on 1080p in 1440p resolution feels so wrong.
