Yes they should have included the cracked 1.02 release for nostalgia's sake. Now all we need are Milder Funko Pops. I've asked them which games have the developer commentary and concept art because they haven't specified it anywhere, but according to Seth's Twitter, Dink is one of the titles featuring commentary.

I think they're basing that on both of those games having a Dink Smallwood easter egg in them. To be fair, they didn't specify how big of an inspiration it might have been...

In the tales of the sword coast expansion, when you're sent into an ice prison, you can shout something along the lines of being Dinkamus Littlelog in search of the holy groundhog. Not sure what the one in Borderlands was, just remember someone mentioning it. Something about a bus??

DinkHD has Commentary Audio?!

I think the commentary audio is only available with this mix tape thing.

I did end up buying it (even though I forgot until yesterday), I'll let you know what I find.

My Super Rare Mixtape Vol 3 arrived today. It does look pretty nice. I didn't realize that it is designed so you run the games right off the USB stick (which seems clever).

I can confirm that there is audio commentary - but it is very minimal. It's just over 2 minutes, outside of the game, and it includes Seth speaking a little bit about how (and why) they created Dink Smallwood.

We do get a bit of a shoutout - "[Dink] still has a somewhat active community making new add-ons".

The concept art gallery is also minimal (only two images), but I don't think I've seen them before. For example, there's a "Wizard Isle' concept on graph paper.

I'm a bit hesitant to share these artifacts - maybe in a few years, after the mixtape is sold out and completely unavailable.

Understandable, publicly posting them just after getting the mixtape would be in bad taste.

he sure as hell did not forget. too convenient. "forgot" is more like. or he's just making shit up because he had nothing interesting to say about the development of the game the time we emailed.
