Can't download files directly
I couldn't directly download files from the files section. Clicking the download button does nothing. I could however click "save link as" to trigger the download, but only after allowing Chrome to keep the dangerous file. HTTPS problem?
I also noticed freedink.org is no longer available. Is the version on the site the latest? And what about the non-freeware sounds?

Tested on Firefox and Edge. It works for me just fine. Before I consider this a problem in your end, it wouldn't hurt if someone also using Chrome tell if it works for them. But it could indeed be a HTTPS problem, because it seems download links are HTTP.
I can confirm this happens for me in Chrome as well
yep, same. it doesn't work on chrome anymore.
On Linux, all downloads types from the DN work with Chromium.
With Chrome, I could download a .mp3 file from the DN, but not a .dmod or an .exe if I just clicked on the green [Download] button. However, if I right clicked on the green [Download] button, I found that a file menu pops up that lets me make ANY download from the DN.

Mister Redink; Can you please "fix" this for Chrome, a very common browser? Alternatively, could you include directions near every download button that say something like "[Chrome Users may need to use [Right Click/Save link as to download]" OR "[Some Browsers may require the use of [Right Click/Save link as to download]".
It's a conspiracy to get us to all use DinkHD.
Also the gnu.org page for freedink still works, just not the direct .org. The domain is still registered though which suggests Beuc hasn't updated his DNS records or something.

I'm sorry folks - this should be fixed now.
