dink.ini again
I've got a major problem with Dink.ini. I've basically changed/resized all of Dink's graphic's and in Dink.ini I changed his "y" depth dot for his idle and normal hit graphics. The same thing I did with item-fst (when it is armed).
But what happens? Whenever I play and quit again, dink.ini is corrupted. There's nothing but black squares and unreadable signs.
Did I forget to change something, somewhere else? Or could it be, which I also see as possible, my virusscanner?
I do think I have an alternative solution myself, which is treat my resized Dink as an alternative hero: just keep Dink's orginal graphics and add my changed graphics to different sequences. But just thought I'd ask first.

Check sword scripts and the magic scripts as you load different graphics with some of those...
I'm just guessing here, but maybe you saved dink.ini in a format that dink.exe can't quite handle, like unicode or the wrong style of line feeds. What are you using to edit it? I'd give something really simple a try, like the dos EDIT command.
Thanks for your answers. I've shut down my virusscanner now, but I'm affraid the problem was probably something I am a bit ashamed of and I'm not gonna tell you......
Well okay then. I left a "Kopie van dink.ini" in the main directory (which translates as Copy of dink.ini). Guess that's what caused all those problems. Anyway, I'll let you all know soon what I'm actually working on. (Apart from working on a bug-free Rascal.) Oh yeah, I use Notepad for scripting.

Notepad all the way! If you have to use Cedit, you are a big cheat who doesn't work hard enough!
