Pollocracy seventeen: Sweet sixteen
Whohoho! It is time for another Pollocracy article. The last one was four months ago so I hope you haven't been too desperate without them. Check out the comments for the full story.
For those of you with relatively short term memories and for those of you who are relatively new around here, here's how the concept of Pollocracy works: I occasionally create new polls (not nearly as often as I should) and then you, the funny user, complain about it in the box labelled 'Any Comments?' (not nearly as often as you should of course). I then take some of the best quotes and put them into a list for myself to admire. But generous as I've always been I occasionally post this for all of you to enjoy. I feel like such a good person today.
But without further ado, here's your fellow Dinker's comments on the polls:
Poll 251: Best snack?

3) is that a question or a statement? If it's a statement, than yes, absolutely. If it's a question than no - Poll #252 is not equal to 1+1.

1) Epics are big, and thus feared by many people, but they are actually quite gentle and only rarely crush their foes.
Poll 255: Are you going on a vacation?
3) Banana land, the best place you could visit as long as you dream of the right banana that is.
2) One time I entered a contest were first prize was "lose a vacation for you and three guests!" I didn't get first place, so I was forced to go on vacation with three friends. We ended up getting sent to oktoberfest. It was the wurst vacation ever.
1) For vacation I'm going to Tal's house. I'm very scared. Tell my family I love them.

3) I'm planning a Dmod! But that's just a dream!

Poll 258: Should DMODs be made differently today compared to the past?
3) Nah. Achievements and such are cute, but it's just a fad. Basic things like writing, gameplay, music make a game.
2) If we don't have lots of midis of songs popular in the 90s what do we, as a community, have left???
1) As long as there are beheadable ducks, nothing else matters.

2) People overdose on K all the time. Gotta take this stuff seriously man.

What should the age limit on bananas be?

No idea how a poll would be classified as an ethereal monster or why a +1 would be too much help against it.
Actually, ethereal isn't even a type or subtype is it? Closest we get to that is outsider and they don't have any inherent damage reduction, so a plus 1 isn't even necessary.
Then there's aberration, but no inherent DR either. I guess this is like at the ren faire when we were asking stores what stats their products had and one said there's epic plate. Isn't that a +10 or higher? Who the duck sells that? I think +10 is good enough to take on gods, really.

Ethereal monsters have a 50% chance to not take damage in v3.5 if you aren't using a magical weapon. :I
