The Dink Network

Ok im kinda embarresed but you may have noticed theres no buildings to go in on any of my buildings because
i cant set warps
they confuse me lol
can some1 teach me to set warps

First pick up a door-sprite.
Then give it hardness 0, and in properties, wich is the "0" button in Dinkedit, give 1.
Then press Shift + 1 and select the screen to warp Dink. I think you should shift + 2 and I think shift + 3 too to set the warp's x and y.
And to exit the building, try the same.

The hardness of warping sprites in Dinkedit should look orange, (press spacebar while you are in Dinkedit to see the screen's hardness.

Oh, and for warping from inside the buildings...I think the best thing to do with the warping sprite is to give it a "type" of 2, wich makes it invisible.

There is a much easier way in dinkedit

select the door, set hardness and warp on.

go to the house, place the cursor on the place where dink should stand, press CTRL+W, goto the door again and press CTRL+W

or first CTRL+W and then set the hardness + warp on...

I don't understand what you mean....

You talking about the brain 2 thingy? If not, I didn't catch up with you, if yes, when you give sprite a brain of 2 it'll turn invisible, but when you click on it it should turn back visible.

but i fixed it now
i have used the warp to lead to a crypt of puzzles

In fact, it isn't "brain 2". It's "type 2".

Agh.. My fault. Oh well. I'm *tired*
