I just read Absolution's review. First of all, thanks for reviewing. And from your review I can see that you know the original story, which is nice, too. I don't think many people know it.

What surprised me, however, was that you seem to be missing a lot of the text. You say you have to wait for a long time before the game starts. However, Machteld should walk to the front and tell you a story during that time. I'd like to know if others had the same problem. After all, the main reason for making this dmod is to test my dmod editor and compiler, so any bugs you found are probably in there, and I certainly want to fix them.

Your review talks about you being left in the dark about why things happen several times, but (on my system at least) a clear story about all this is told (for example about getting the flower, and the name of Adelbrecht (who you call "nameless friend")).

In short, it seems you are missing a lot of text. Did you see any text at all? I'd like to solve this, so any information about other people having the same problem, or ways to solve it, are welcome.

Anyway, thanks again for taking the trouble to review.

When I reviewed it, it was based solely on the "continue" mode. In my edit I stated that there was back story is you selected start and waited. It was my player error to miss that text.

Well, but it shouldn't make you wait a long time. Also, you mention several other pieces of missing information (the name of Adelbrecht, the fact that you should go find a flower), which I thought I had explained quite clearly. So even if there may be some player error involved, it doesn't seem to be the only problem.

Also, I'm surprised that you could continue at all. I had designed it so that when pressing continue it would just say "You haven't even started yet!" and then go back to the title screen. Continue should only work after you have started the game before.

I don't recall being able to speed things up. Again, my error.

You did. Everything you mentioned there was skipped on my first play through.

Continue should only work after you have started the game before.

Then I believe we found a glitch. Try posting the script here and see if anyone can figure that out.

Ah, that was my fault. I see I included a save file in the dmod by accident.

I totally understand how you couldn't follow the story if you started from there... Sorry about that.
