I don't recall being able to speed things up. Again, my error.
Also, you mention several other pieces of missing information (the name of Adelbrecht, the fact that you should go find a flower), which I thought I had explained quite clearly.
You did. Everything you mentioned there was skipped on my first play through.
Continue should only work after you have started the game before.
Then I believe we found a glitch. Try posting the script here and see if anyone can figure that out.
