Torchlight II is finally just around the corner. The official release date is Sep 20, 2012. Is anyone on here going to be playing and interested in a little co-op? I've preordered my copy and will be playing it the day it's released (I'm even pre-loading it right this moment.) If you're interested, hit me up.

Also, consequently, the preorder came with a steam copy of the original Torchlight. Since I already own it, I have a single copy I can gift to anyone who's interested.

I have never played torchlight, you could hold a contest for it though.

I would like it but what would the contest be about who has the most pots of gold if so don't include you know who.

He doesn't have to host one, he can give it away if he wants to. It is his game after all.

I like it from what I can see though some games look great to me but they lie about the cake the main one is DINK SMALLWOOD. but this looks like Runescape kind of.

I've yet to get past a bug in the free copy of Torchlight-1 that came with the preorder-slot though, game crashes when I kill Ordraak.

Stupid git comparing a game with Runescape.

Will definitely be getting this as it comes out I liked the first one, but got tired of it because it lacked multiplayer.
Going to play through it with some friends first, but I'd be up for some co-op after my first playthrough!

Plus, I'm thinking of looking into the modding for that game, if it's managable.

Modding for the first game was, I'd assume it'll be similar for the 2nd.
In fact there are steam achievements for adding mods to Torchlight 1, strangely enough.

Let's see.. the contest shall be... who wants it more? Let the fight to the death begin!

In all seriousness, I don't care who it goes to so long as it doesn't to someone who just plays for 5 minutes and then never touches again when someone else would sincerely enjoy the game.

I'm also interested in the modding aspect. When the tools are released, I'll definitely be looking into it. I hear they are also taking advantage of the steam workshop.

I just meant it reminds me of Runescape from some of the graphics I don't mean to make anyone unhappy and I would like the game I kind of completeted the other games I have or they started to get boring.

I don't have a girlfriend so I won't be busy with anyone and my Joad class isn't until Winter so I have the extra time but I have school right now so that would take away some time but I can come on at about 2:30 P.M. I have completed most of my games so I'm not doing much except play online games or play Dink Smallwood. One last thing is I am grounded for six days but I can do whatever is needed for extra times and I could possibly play in sececret.

We should have another talk later on when the modding tools are released Perhaps we can combine our crafting powers!

I think the soundtrack is good but could be more engaging. Then again, it's slashing monsters, I guess I can deal with basic background music

Loving the soundtrack, myself. Reminds me of Torchlight 1's music, definitely feeling the sequel-ness.
