The villagers suspect that a slayer have been stealing the food in the town (can't remember it's name XD), but I can't seem to find one... or anything else suspicious.
I've gotten the fireball-spell.

What to dooooo...?

Go east into the forest, there's a stairway leading down to the cave where mr. slayer is. You'll need to get past some thorn bushes that are placed pretty close together.
