People will play it if you release it. There will probably even be a "Let's Play Redneck Dawn" for it.
Well congrats for finishing it - thats quite a feat here in itself - good job If you dont want to release it, why not take what you learnt from it and have a go at another one As always, people are willing to help if u get stuck on scripting.
Without proper proof of your claim that you finished it, I'm not going to believe that you finished it.
I could say that I've finished thousands of D-mods, but I'm not going to release them because, screw the world, I'm not gonna.

it a bit like DD defeat the terroist
it would take you about aprox 1 minutes and 30 seconds to pass it aint worth it.
Kris you christians are in denial of everything.

In denial as you are in your skills as a modder?
atleast i tried what the hell have you done?
Don't sell yourself short kid you didn't try you did.
finally a dinky thread and u lot dont settle shame on u all - hes sharing his dmodding experience. its hard so good on u for admitting it pred.
I would really like to see it, actually. A bad D-Mod is better than no D-Mods. And I'm sure there are way worse D-Mods already released on this site. If anything, I think people would find the idea of the game hilarious.
That is, if you have really finished the D-Mod, and aren't just playing us.

I disagree no d-mod is better then a bad d-mod atleat the lack of a dmod dosent fill up the d-mod category with poor quality dmods.
It should be quality>quantity
not quantity>quality

If I thought that way, I would have never uploaded a single D-Mod of mine. I think that goes for most Dinkers.
Id rather have 15 good dmods then 150 mediocre ones.
Well, it's your decision of course. I just don't think there's any sense in making a D-Mod and then not uploading it. You don't even know what other people think of it.
That want the original idea originally i was going to release it but it didnt turn out as i expected it.
That's how all first D-Mods turn out. I doubt Simon's first attempt at modding was Isle Of Croth.
isle of croth was still way better then mine.
Just upload it. What do you have to lose anyway? Many dinkers have started out releasing less than stellar d-mods, but through feedback and the feeling of actually having finished something they've grown and came to release better and better d-mods over time. Eventually, even a complete beginner can grow into a veteran d-mod author
Yes, you might get bad reviews, but as Skull said... 0 d-mods < 1 d-mod.

(sigh)....... well i guess i could atleast work on it a little longer add more sprites screens and dialougue.
Do you guys REALLY want me to release it.
I might feel embarrassed.

Either do that, work on it a bit more until you're happy, or count it as a first 'practice' D-Mod and don't upload it. But now that you're a bit used to how to make them, your next one will be better
Edit:
"But now that you're a bit used to how to make them"
Ugh.
Er... "Now that you've had some practice" or "Now that you have some experience" maybe.

This is good news! Congrats on your first D-Mod!
I agree with sparrow, first D-Mods are just for practice... Doesn't matter wether you upload it, but you should make another one now that you know the basics!

Release it, Pred. You'll never get better if you don't get feedback for your work.
How else did I get good enough to draw this?
Also, I'm not in denial, I've just been in an environment where people make a lot of claims about something and there are always the people who need proof about it.
A lot of these people are atheists and pagans, oddly enough.

You should release it if only to satisfy our curiosity about what kind of D-Mod you'd come up with.
never release anything u arent proud of Msdinkys motto
