This is cool, but why do you call it neurolinguistic programming? Admittedly I don't know much about NLP except it seems to be pseudoscience. Hypnosis is real though, and I think the video is probably real, though I wonder if Daniel would be as suggestible if he knew he had an audience.

Maybe he wants to be discredited so people won't take him seriously and they'll be more susceptible to his influence. 
Anyway, Rob, have you heard of Brian Brushwood? He's a magician who hosts a few web shows, which you can read about in that link. One of them is called Scam School. It's about everyday social engineering, so you might like it. He's written some books too. I don't know if he covers hypnosis though.
