The Dink Network

Ok maybe I am missing something, But in the very beginning of the game I am stuck. I am pretty sure I have explored that entire cave. I found a robot head, I can see a blue robot. But it is blocked by rocks (that I cannot push) and there is another area with a large rock blocking the path. but I can not get through either blocked path, and just seem to be stuck running around killing the same monsters over and over. Can anyone give me a tip on how to get out of this area please? I'm sure it is something simple. And maybe there is just some area I havent explored but just think I have been everywhere.

From the start screen you have to walk south a few times. Dink will keep saying something different and eventually the guy will give you his sword. Hope this helps

...You also need to find a bomb to get past those 2 rocks... have a good look around and "look" (press space) at everything.

Keep walking downwards at the start, back at the exit. Dink will yell different stuff every time. Finally Captain Cedric will give him his sword. Go to the place with the locker and the ivy. Cut through the ivy. Open the locker and take a bomb. Then go to the place with the blue robot head and two rocks. Bomb the rocks off to heck! Go to the blue robot head. Have you found a green robot head? If so, put its batteries into the blue robot head and press the little black button, not the big one, it only steals your health. The robot will get up. They will talk. Then Dink will ask him to drill through a rock. Go south, then go east. You will find the huge rock. The robot will drill through it. Then you must go around until you get to the place where Peter dies. Then you must go north, if you choose to stay with the robot. Go into the locker room and kill the red robots, at the end you will reach Peter's imposter and the dead old man. He will kill you, then you get resurrected by Martridge. Hope this helps.

Doodler, little tip when helping people. Don't just tell them everything they have to do as well as everything that happens in the short time after the part they are stuck on, give them obvious or subtle hints. You've just spoiled the first quarter of the game for the guy, and he never said he wanted spoilers past where he's stuck. Otherwise he would have looked at a walkthrough.
