Dink Smallwood Novelization
Say ... if I wrote a Dink Smallwood novel of the original story and sold it for around Rs 100 ($ 0.90), would I get sued by Seth?
I don't think he replies to DinkNetwork PM's and I don't know his e-mail.
No you wouldn't. Seth stated ages ago that he's fine with people earning money by selling the original game or their D-Mods. So you would most likely not get sued for a book.
Heh, unless the book will bring in a rather large amount of money it wouldn't be worthwhile to sue someone for it anyway. Suing someone is rather expensive you know. (A lot more than 90 cents for sure... )
Still, it isn't polite or ethical to take someones work and charge money for it just because he wouldn't stop you. So the polite thing is still to just ask.

I'm pretty sure it's not legal
But then again, I doubt you'll sell more than 10 copies anyway xD

Here is Seth's E-Mail reply:
Well, I can't officially endorse it, but I don't really mind unless it's REALLY horrible or becomes the next harry potter, if that happens we'd have to talk.
Thanks,

Suck on that! I got in contact with Seth! He's pretty nice, not like those people who think us as annoying ways to earn money.

Big deal.
Well at least now you don't have to worry about getting sued by Seth. Now start writing boy!

Once upon a time DinkDoodler's one-year-in-community-day was November 19th so he was now officialy a non-nub. His birthday was on 22nd November, so now he was 12.
