Ok so i just started playing this game and i like it but when i try to install a dmod it tells me access denied and it wont work. How do i even get these dmods installed and working can someone help thanks.
Give us a bit more info, for example what version of Windows are you using?
Normally you just double-click on the D-Mod icon and DFArc will install it. There are other ways if that isn't working... not sure why it wouldn't though.

Sounds like vista or win 7 control issue - if it is denying you access - can u change your control settings??
Ya im using Windows Vista how did i change the settings?
Not sure how thats working; my own vista doesn't do that to me.

That's not the same problem, thats LOCATING the Dmods.
The problem here is generally installing them.
Try reinstalling Dink to a location OUTSIDE of C:/Program Files.

Ok ya im the admin but u see wat happens is im using mozzilla firefox as a web browser but when its down downloading it says error and it wont install im going to try reinstalling the game again but ive done that like 20 times since the game sometimes dosent work.
i ment it finsishes downloading but when i click the app it appears with that error message
Try watching the download... Could be that your internet connection is somehow responsible. I remember having a problem like that before. Seen here.
When you download again, watch the progress bar and the filesize. Make sure its the actual filesize stated.

ok wat happens is when i download it off of firefox it finishes that then i click it to begin the installation the bar starts and it gets to the end then that error message appears.
A .dmod file is actually a .tar.bz2 compressed file, so you could try unpacking it with something like 7-Zip and then just dragging it into your Dink folder.
ah 7-zip... saved my life he did! fixed meh problems many a time.
ok after i unpack it witch file do i put it in and ware?
