after i try to come back from the frozen land, the game freezes. any suggestions?

Works fine for me. Try buying a new computer. I recommend one with at least 8GB of RAM, a 1.5TB HDD, and an Intel Core i7. Dink is a pretty hardware intensive game.

I don't know how to fix it, it is probably a bug. You'd best address your problem to DinkKiller.

It shouldn't crash, I made sure there wern't any fatal bugs with the script that would make it crash. My only suggestion is try reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, it might be something wrong with your computer or something else is wrong with the file

I had the same problem. I got around it by using the Ultimate Cheat to warp back. The mod was great apart from that.

I know this is old, but for future reference: I fixed this by switching on True Color in DFArc. I can usually get past lockups like this by toggling that or one of the other options.
