Hardest boss in video game
On this topic write which boss in fighting games is too hard/cheap for you and also why. For me it's:
Goenitz from King of Fighters '96 - Seriously...This guy is TOO dang cheap. He spawns tornadoes right in your face when running towards to him.It can be dodged but he will counter you with throw or DM(Demolition Move - Super move). But much worse is that he can do his DM WITHOUT charging his powerbar! But atleast SNK( Now SNK Playmore) lowered his AI in next SNK games(He's very easy in King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match. Even at the maximum difficulty
)
Jinpachi from Tekken 5 - I REALLY hate that old geezer! He's quick, he can stunt you, heal himself, his attacks tooks you 30% of lifebar and also his fireball is undodgeable!(Much worse is that one fireball takes your 50% of life and he can release two of them!). I was in dang rage and i turned off PS2 when i lose 5 times(I played as a Lee and i was good playing him). Now i'll NEVER play Tekken.

It's been such a long time since I played KoF '96, and I remember he was quite a bastard, though not quite as bad as Ignitz. For a while I thought Magaki in XI was the worst, till I figured out that the trick is to get in close and then combo him like crazy... but even then, like all SNK bosses, he's cheap as hell.
In the fighting genre, one I can think of is Tabuu on Intense difficulty (Boss Battles) from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He is very random and to dodge his attacks you must be accurate and sometimes spot on.
The hardest boss levels overall is in the game Dr. Robotniks Mean Bean Machine on the Mega Drive. I just can't beat it.

Just to move away to a different genre, I've gotta admit that Zaramoth Reborn in DS2:Broken World is an insanely difficult boss.
I preffer to get up close and personal with my specially enchanted all-elements 2h sword, but Zaramoth is far too difficult to defeat in melee combat without support mages and rangers, especialy mages with resurrect(scroll or spells).
His Fire rings slaughter my distanced attackers, his blade wave slices through everyone if they're bunched up enough, lightening strikes are insanely annoying, and when he starts blinking around the place... GAH.
I ended up cheating twice in order to win, pausing and using Invincibility cheat to preotect my mage so he could resurrect and heal my main attackers, then turning it off again to continue fighting. Had to do it twice to actually defeat him.

I waould say that Ak.U.Mu. in Jet Set Radio Future is the hardest boss.
right now sephiroths giving me trouble. on crisis core.
For me the hardest thing right now is Keine on Imperishable Night. Ridiculously hard on normal.
Meh...Magaki in KOFXI wasn't so cheap at all(Well if you play the game for the first time). You have to know in what moment you can dodge his giant blue fireball. Plus when he does his LDM and you know in what time it ends from the last hit press dodge while blocking and beat him cause he will freeze for a while. Oh and also i forgot about Gill from Street Fighter 3. He was a pain in the a**. WHen he have his power bar full and life in 0 he can ressurect himself.
Iselia queen from Valkyrie Profile 1 made me lose my nerves ! dang ! I won just once this optional boss ! But seems like it's harder the second time..
for me it would be Bass in the later games in the mmbn series.
His weakest attack takes a 3rd from your life if maximized you can only hit him if hes standing still plus if his ultimate form is activated he has an regenerating aura(for defense) wich neglects any attack under 200 damage.

There's actually quite a few tough fights in those games.
the WEAKEST i've ever encountered is the undead pirate at the end of the original Alone in the Dark game
You're kidding right Patrunjelu? They're easy to beat
My easiest boss ever was the endboss of FF-CC: Ring of Fates.
