Peasant She/Her
Two characters, Stinky and Waggle, explain before the game starts, the new things in this D-mod. The savebot has changed, the stats have changed – attack is now strength, deffence is endurance and magic essance. You can choose two stats for leveling up.

Storyline: Dink is asked to go see Magdalena, a pregnant woman. She is very ill and can only be saved if Dink finds her a certain flower.

Map and graphics: The map is done nicely. There are some new graphics, such as the status bar (partly), the savebot, a flower, Magdalena. The purple bars on the sides of the status bar do not look very nice, besides that, it distracts the attention from the game. The savebot is done extremely well, and looks very good.

Music: Fair.

Good: The interaction with the sprites is real good, and they all have a different, interesting, story to tell - such as the gossip lady. The beginning of the story is real good, and the quest is somewhat fairytale like.

Not so good: There are no borders on several screens, a thing that is always very annoying. The bonca is way to strong and before you have levelled up enough to defeat him, you have to spend a very long time killing loads of enemies - so cheat is the only option. The end is rather disappointing. Altough it is well explained why the end is that way, and although it is a demo, with the same effort the author took to script the end, he could have scripted an extra script for Magdalena or the doctor to make it a decent end.
Although the gossip lady indeed mentions something about a war going on, no other remark is made about that and the story is not about that war at all - nor a lake.

Overall: A very nice D-mod, with a bit disappointing ending.

Fit for: Anyone who is in for another one of Dink’s adventures.
