Why is there no screenlock on the boss? You can just walk right past him 
Perhaps if you squeezed an ounce of creative juice out of yourself instead of pulling trite, generic names out of your rear, we'd be so amazed that we could remember the name.
Just like in real life. Then again, the final boss in real life is fairly easy anyways, but with his high HP, he's not worth the bother.
In real life, it wouldn't be as easy as going to another screen to escape from a boss. Or any enemy, for that matter. 
I don't know what reality your talking about, but in mine, all you need to do is walk a couple dozen steps, and forget about them forever.

Well for OL2 I'm gonna use the import function seen in Catacombs so you can continue playing even though its a new DMOD. So some secrets that are only in OL1 you can still have the bonus in OL2.
