How do you get a quote? you know those things right at the bottom of the page that show randomly? i would like to know how they get selected etc.
You can apply here.
The link doesn't work...

Actually, sometimes being unintentionally stupid will get you up there, but that's in rare cases. You try too hard, you won't get quoted.
well... if it's out of stupidity i should get in there definately (how do you spell that? i always forget)
Yeah, that there... that's the kind of stuff that's more likely to get you banned than quoted.
"Progeny is just... wrong." - Christiaan
"MWHAHAHAHAHA - yes you're right!" - SimonK
Ah, one of my favourite quotes. The one at the bottom of the page right now...

It took me two email addresses and 3 user names to finally sign up on TDN (first two didn't work so i changed to another email address) so i definatly (come on, how DO you spell that?) shouldn't get banned. *mumbles* stupid telstra email address...
ok since this is MY HOW TO thingie, i was wondering... is it possible for me to put links in posts and change colour/formatting of text?
Just think of infinitely and replace "in" with "de". Cause you wouldn't write infinatly would you? Or maybe you would. If so, just ignore what I just said.
thanx for the tip, i'll just think 'infinte', add 'ly' to the end, and replace 'in' with 'de'
infinite, instead of infinte, but that's the way to do it

Why don't you download Firefox, then download a dictionary extension! (Why do you think I rarely make spelling mistakes?)
i do use firefox but most of the time i ignore its dictionary
I usually don't make spelling mistakes, and I turned off the dictionary.
Well, I rarely make mistakes, too. But it's always handy to have it on. Otherwise you don't notice it. That way if Mr Perfect comes along he can't get up you for spelling something wrong.
A dictionary is a good thing if you're not a native speaker. Because whatever I type I rarely get corrected by anyone. So for me it is actually a way to improve my level of English. I now rarely get corrected by the Firefox spell checker except when using technical terms. (DMOD would be a great example if it wasn't for the fact that I actually added it to the dictionary...
)
It's a bit of a pain when typing dutch though. (Maybe there's a Dutch version too, but I couldn't really bother)

There sure are a lot of bananas on the board lately, eh?
