Re: 1 screen compo: what screen are you taking?
For the compo thread, click here.
To keep things as easy as possibly for joshriot to compile all 1 screen compo Dmods, I suggest that we all tell what screen we will be using so we know what is reserved (and we could keep the screens close, perhaps).
I am picking screen 2, because screen 1 might be taken already.
I am not using any custom graphics or sequences.

I'll take screen 3 then.
Perhaps we could list any sequence(s) of new graphic(s) as well. I'm using sequence 98.

I guess I'll take screen number 4. Also, I'm taking up the sequence 196. Oh, and, just so you guys know, I am soooo gonna win this contest!!
It shouldn't really matter which screen you take, the format of Dink.dat and Map.dat makes it so joshriot will have to do some work to get each of your screens in the right place anyway. Wonder if he's up to it?
I'm not really concerned about the map file though, but rather the related files. I tried to externalize as much as possible for Josh's convenience (make_global_var and Dink stats/position in a seperate script).
But wait, Pheonix's right. He can just import the screens from our D-MODs and put them anywhere he likes.
The maps shouldn't be a big task compared to what he'll have to go through if people modify their hard.dat or dink.ini, and those are only the first things that come to mind. There are a million problems with putting the entries together if people don't try to make it effortless for him.
And with the type of people that have been plaguing TDN lately, I'm not sure everyone can think that far, hell I wouldn't be surprised if someone sent their dmod in .d

Now I'm sure I'm entering and not giving up
, I'll post here.
I'm using sequence 34 for new graphics. That's it for now...
Update: I'll start my script names with v#-
I'm also loading all new sounds, graphics and globals in start-1.c so joshriot won't have to search through the normal places looking for new stuff.

We should also have to give name our scripts in some way. For example, i'll name all my scripts starting with c11, so nobody will use the same script names i'll do. By the way, i'll use screen 11.
I'll start all my script names with dd-
My prefix is rbd- I hope I didn't screw things up by renaming things

I'll take the graphics seq 850-855
I'm changing my graphics sequence slot. I'm now taking up 860-879.
I'm using graphics seq 34-39, 88, 150-153, and 881-890.
If I make something, I'll use screen 123.
Actually, I'm no longer using any graphics sequences.
As well as naming our scripts, should we use the same prefix for the variables we make as well? If so, I'm using dd-.
