When was Dink published?
I've got a question. When was Dink first published on CD? I mean, the exact date. You know, like, 17-09-97 or something like that.
Hmmm on Wikipedia shows that it was released in 1997 as a CD.
You're very resourceful, and by that I mean unobservant.
I mean, the exact date. You know, like, 17-09-97 or something like that. Does anyone actually know?
You want to celebrate an anniversary? Sorry, I have no idea.. but it would of course be appropriate to gather up some money and send Seth a gift basket and a bunch of flowers..

Don't you think it would be more appropriate to send a beheaded duck? Though I guess the post office might be a tad suspicious of a package that's leaking sticky red liquid.

Red cordial?
Maybe I'll email Seth and ask him. I would like to celebrate a 10 years anniversary with friends and family. Uh, maybe not seeing as none of them know what the word Dink means.
I'm gonna email Seth.

January 1998 me thinks, cause the original dates were missed
It was released sometime in 1997 on a CD. Then in 1999 they released it as freeware on the net.
"I would like to celebrate a 10 years anniversary with friends and family."

I think we got Dink Smallwood 1.06 as an extra thing on some disc in 1999. I can't remember exact date though, I was only five then.
1.06 was the first freeware release, distributed as a download-only release. 1.05 was the last disc version.
I got the Dink Smallwood v1.06 as a freeware on Chip- September 2000 CD.
That January 1998 is what I read here. But it seems I missed something.

That just means you're not fulfilling your duty as a Dinker. They ought to know by now.

Harshit: My bad, I meant that 1.05 was the last version published by RTSoft/Iridon on a disc. I didn't factor in various magazines distributing the freeware version on their discs.
I knew what you meant, but I was replying to Znex.
"That just means you're not fulfilling your duty as a Dinker. They ought to know by now."
Well, most of them do know. But some of my more 'weird' friends and relatives don't know. They've seen me working on D-Mods and such. But I've never told them what it is.
"Jun 15, 1997"
Who told you!? But wait ... that was ages ago! We've missed it godangit! But wait, we could still celebrate it, couldn't we? It won't hurt to do it a few weeks late? Who says we start another thread celebrating it?

It would be wrong for Dink Smallwood's spirit.
I know, why don't we do it every year on July 15? That's a great idea! I don't suppose you guys have been celebrating it at all have you? Oh my god! How disrespectful! And you call yourselves Dinkers! Shame on you!
Are you nuts?

Shut up about rat's asses! Rat's asses are cool! ... Uh, you didn't hear that.

Oh, oops.
"I found it here"
Okay, cool.
I'm gonna start another thread celebrating a late Dink anniversary.

Please tell me, how is that fabulous? If you're calling a Dink anniversary fabulous, then you're not a Dinker!
How could a Dink anniversary not but be fabulous, in such a jocund company?
(inspired by the poem Daffodils, by William Wordsworth)
In other words:
fabulous [gey], adjective
1. having or showing a merry, lively mood: fabulous spirits; fabulous music.
Are you calling a Dink anniversary not fabulous? What kind of Dinker are you?

Oh. Whoops. It is a time for fabulousness! Let's all be fabulous! Ew, that sounds wrong.
Nah, I think the word fabulous fits you well
Yes, let's be merry over some really alcoholic drink that gets you drunk under five seconds!
