New Job
I got a job (for the first time in my life). I'm an assistant in our Phys. department's student laboratory. I have 4-5 working shifts a month, I get paid 100€ for each shift, and all I need to do is find different resistors and signal generators for the people doing experiments for their first courses. I also have to grade the reports for a rolling & inertia lab experiment.
This is great; I can pay my own rent and have some money left over, I barely have to do anything, and I have ultimate power in making people re-do the rolling report over and over and over again. I didn't know working was such a joy.

Thats totally awesome! Just having a job that has decent pay for something you enjoy easily would be great enough, but to think you actually get paid a lot more than you'd expect. You deserve it of course for such an advanced education in science.
I hope I can do something like that someday.
Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Yeah, deserved, sure... most of the assistants are post-graduate students (whereas I haven't even reached a Bachelor's degree) and all I did to get this job was to ask if I could do the study required for a bachelor's on something related to the student lab. So basically I shouldn't have this job and never even asked for it, it just came out of the blue. But hey, it's mine now, not complaining.

Congratulations Sharp! $100 (Sorry I can't do the pounds thing. I'm using an Australian keyboard) is a lot of money to get. Heck I only get $5 a week!
Cool... Always nice to find a cushy job you love.
Pounds...? I live in the Euroworld where 1 EUR is approximately 1.4 USD (or 1.6 AUD).
And thanks to you all for congratulating
