I never really got into gaming that much (unless, its freeware, and then its a different story). I have a strong preference towards my music and my drawings.

With that being said, I really do wish I had one!!

It won't destroy your TV. You will destroy your TV if you are a doofus.

Destroying tube TV's takes a fair bit of effort. When I ripped apart a bunch of old monitors, the tubes almost always needed to have the stem broken off too implode, even when I was throwing them into the garbage dump. (a good 6-8m drop, onto jagged metal, etc.) If they hit on their face, they'd just sit there.

On the other hand, getting a PS3 might just get you killed. And this time it isn't you being a doofus (though some people say you have to be a doofus to want a PS3... blah, blah consolewars...), but it's the other guy who's a doofus this time.

I hate Nintendo. Nintendo fans always rant about how their console is better than all others and flame all other consoles. Sorry, I like the Playstation and I'll stick with them. I WILL get a PS3...when I can afford it in ten years.

If you look carefully, ALL fanboys say that about their consoles, no matter if it's about the Wii, PS3, Xbox, or hell, even the NES. Don't judge a console by the fanboys, judge a console by what it can do, how much it costs, what games are released on it, and how much features it has. Just like comparing any other electronical product.

I do want a Wii, since it has games and features that I like, like Zelda, Wario Ware, and soon an emulation thingy with older games on it. And the remote control is interesting (and optional since you can plugin a normal controller too).

PS3 and Xbox 360 don't attract me much mostly because of the type of games that are released on it, and the price. And Nintendo's been in business for a long time, so you can expect they release something good (even though they're experimenting again, look at the new controller).

Nothing can beat my T1-83! Muhahahaha, it's the best console ever! Hahaha. All the other consols suck, 'cause they too big! Pah! Muhahahaha.

I hate the game selection Nintendo has. Playstation has my favortie line of games...like Silent Hill. Thats my main judgement, I just hate Nintando fanboys. and yes, I know that all fanboys do it, but the Nintendo kiddies do it more and worse.

All fanboys suck. Other fanboys only appear to 'do it more and worse' if you're a member of an opposing group.

Oh, and don't forget, the mildest disapproval, approval or ignorance of a console immediately makes you a fanboy in the eyes of the unshowered.

Nintendo has always provided me with the most fun; therefore I hold them in the highest regard. And I will gladly buy any console, but given my lack of enthusiasm for the PS3's game lineup for the foreseeable future and the outrageous price, I think the PS3 will wait for a long time coming.

I'm going to have to agree with redink1 here. kjmarket really does comes off as a fanboy... as I've never really found one group more annoying than the other... they all have their extremely obnoxious fanatics... and there's lots of them.

All people who judge others as fanboys is greater than the set of people who judge others as fanboys and don't shower.

I'm not a fanboy, nor do I see how I could ocme across as one. Maybe if you had ever had as many people as I've had flame you for liking a certain console, or because you prefer certain games over others, then maybe you'd have a problem with Nintendo fans too. I didn't come on here saying my fav system was the best, so how can I be a fanboy? Hell, my PS2 doesnt even work, as it scratches every disc beyond repair, so right now I'm not even a gamer!

These statements are aren't very nice, are they? Maybe you could use, 'I dislike Nintendo.' Indiscriminate hate on the other hand is what wars are fought over. Don't hate the haters and all that makes it better, and silencing the haters through non-reply quickly makes them go away. Also, it's just me, but all fans of consoles/computers/politics/products/whatever get equally repugnant once they start acting the same way. Heck, I'm sure my recent spiels on recent RPG gaming may have come off as fanboyish and irritating to some. And really? That's alright. As long as it's not taken too far, and not used too hate, it's not bad. But often it is. Just try not to insult people. Easy as that.

I'm not trying to be harsh with you here, I'm just laying it as I see it. Honestly, I don't even really care that much. I'm just replying because you asked, and I think some people might have replied not so kindly, and thus the hate-cycle continues. Meh. It's like trying to stop the moon from falling but I try. Hopeless battles being the best sort and all.

I've recently purchased an X-Box 360, and I be liking it greatly. I'd love to have a Wii as well, but when it came down to it, I think the 360 will have more games I'll want to play than the Wii will. Gears of War is a fantastic game, if a tad short.

I've never really liked the Playstation as a platform. It could be because I've never owned one, but the graphics always seem so jagged. I certainly wouldn't pay the price ther're asking for the PS3.
