i Made this poem for him called a lament for vortex

Vortex a hurricane came and we dont know where you are,
Lets just hope you dont die by being hit by a car,
We all miss you and hope that you are okey,
but knowing you are in trouble we canot play,

For you could die and no one wants that,
we would care for you if you died not your pet cat,
We hope you are going well and that you are not in the super dome,
for the nurses there are mean and they just wanna go home,

if you come back we'll be glad for you are not dead,
if you are i would toss and turn all night not being able to sleep in my bed,

So Vortex I wish you the best of luck and hope you dont die of loss of blood,
It is scary to think that one of my friends could be dead in that flood.

thats my poem for vortex its not good but i hope he is well and safe anyone who wants to post stuff for vortex can in this thread and when and if he comes back he'll see how much people cared about him.

I found out on news that the situation is really bad. Even he's alive, I don't think we'll hear of him soon. I don't think it's computer survived.

Statistically speaking? No, he's probably still alive. But his home town caught the wrong side of a category 5 hurricane. They probably don't have power yet, many buildings have been destroyed, and just forget about internet... it won't be up for a while.

my mum said it was catagory 4 cause catagory 5 is complete and utter destruction to anything it hits man im glad i live in ausie land

Yeah, technically you're right. It was a category 5 for a while when it was over the water, but it dropped to 4 before it hit land. Thank god for small blessings.

My intial meeting(s) with Vortex were not good, and I didn't really like him, but a hurricane has magical ways of changing opinions. I seroiusly don't want Vortex to be dead. I heard about enough death when I went to Penang (an island of Indonesia) and our resort got hit with a small tidal wave. If it wasn't for my mom, I wouldn't have become a Dinker (if you get my drift, and I'm sure you do).

P.S. Please no more car hitting Vortex comments, only recently a friend of mine was hit by a car and nows he's in hospital. His parents refuse to come home and his sister and brother are VERY upset.

hope the guys alright but some of those ppl in new arleans is it they can't swing interstate or is it there so stupid to? lucky i live in the middle of aussie these things never happen but it does snow acationaly (yes is snows in australia)

I got hit by a huge tornado.

I heard on news that on the places hit by hurricanes is complete anarchy. Gangs kill people for food, and police forces has resigned because they were too affraid to face the gangs. The army has orders to shoot any people that does something illegal around there. Is this on yours news too?

That is probably one of the funniest things I've ever read hear and the fact that it rhymes makes it legendary.

i also too hope Vortex is ok even though we have never talked and never met. chances are that he will be so but hopeful for his return.

while on the subject of the incidents of policemen resigning and gangs, a couple of people were shot by policemen for carrying guns on a bridge in new orleans, also 2 police officers in the area commit scuicide. the leader of cuba, fidel castro offers aid to the US by providing tons of supllies and doctors but the US has not yet responded (typical).

I heard they got another 40,000 out of there today.And with the national guard there,things are starting to settle down.I guess all we can do is hope for the best.

dude i dont know what kind of weird ass accent you speak with but last time i checked "doom" rhymed with "use"

Truly poetic poems don't rhyme. It's all about using weird words, at least, that's the impression I get from poems published by "experts".

If you are referring to my post in the other thread, it was intended as a "joke" about a former Dinker - You'd have to have been around a while to understand it.
