Um, is Runescape a PC game? That'd make the comparison rather unfair, as computers seem to have much better resolution than TVs (or at least much better resolution than my TV, hm. I'm no expert.)
Disregard that; there's a PC version of Halo. Here's a nice screen. Nice grass texturing, wonder how they did it.
As for runescape... I looked it up, and I think the ad must have been a joke. I won't link you any screens of that ugliness.
EDIT: I like how the guy's hand is taking up half the screen. That feature must be real helpful in a firefight.

Hell yeah. It keeps you from getting distracted by things like incoming projectiles and the like.
It is only taking up most of the screen because the players overheated the gun and fired it...
Put down Halo if you like (despite popular opinion, you can have a opinion)But there is still no comparison between Halo and Runescape...

That says nothing about the quality of Runescape however 
People either seem to like Half-Life or Halo, rarely both.
Halo 1 > Half-Life 1
Halo 2 < Half-Life 2
It's the same with doom and wolfenstein.

I wasn't using that to criticize Runescape... I was just telling you why I hate it so much... Stupid cow
I played Doom 3 I think... It was...ok...nothing to get your g-string in a tangle...but ok 
Though Sabre tried clarifying, I wasn't sure if it was clear enough, so:
The guy's hands/gun are taking up half the screen since he just fired, and the screenshot was cleverly taken *just* as the gun points upward briefly, the gun pointing upwards briefly because you've fired too much in a certain amount of time, causing it to overheat; when a Covenant (alien) gun in Halo overheats, it takes a couple of seconds to cool down and return to normal usage.
I probably should've broken that down into more than one collective sentence. Oh well.

FYI, scratchmaster, I love Halo and Half-Life both. Though, the single-player portion of Half-Life dominates Halo's, while the multiplayer portion of Halo.. well, I'm much more familiar with it, I guess.
I'd rather play Deus Ex. Then again, I'm not that big on FPS games.
my favorite fps is probably socom cause its not like stupid like halo you run around in a space suit what the hell is that why dont they just put aliens in it or something
Uh... unless you're being sarcastic, or your complete inability to add punctuation to your messages is relaying a different message than intended, I'd like to say that there are aliens in Halo. Lots of 'em. Have you even played it?

im not a big fan of the halo series. it just never attrated me that much. however, i really like HL2 and i play counter-strike 1.6 alot. as for the graphics on halo vs runescape... the choice is quite obvious right?

We're comparing the graphics here, compared to some of the later games, it's graphics aren't so good.

You know, I say Runescape is better. I played part of Halo 2 with one of my friends and I found absolutely no interest in it. Runescape's graphics aren't the best in the world but I like the 2000 person multiplayer.
