Story Rules
In order to make things somewhat organized, here are some rules for stories.
1) When possible, try to keep the story and all minor revisions in the topic's message. Do not post any revisions as a reply or another topic. Please post a reply stating that you've changed something, so it will get 'bumped'.
Otherwise, newcomers will get lost and won't know where all of the pieces of the story are. If your story is going to be very long, you may split it into multiple chapters/parts (topics).
If you do a major re-write, you may add a new topic with the same title, but tack on a 'Revision 2' or something similar.
2) The subject should be the title of your work. If you don't know of a title, think of something, even if it is something like "Bob's Second Story". If you have multiple chapters, do something like "Bob's Second Story: Chapter 2"
3) You should try to limit any comments about your story into replies to the story.
4) Any topics that are not stories will be moved to the Off-Topic forum.
5) I know the icon is lame, but I'm too lazy to make a new one for the moment.
6) Because indentation doesn't really work well, new paragraphs should be designated by two line returns (i.e. press the enter key twice between each paragraph).

I would move joshriot's and desertgrl's stories, but they are blog topics, and cannot be moved.
We should probably also have a 'non-erotic'
or 'non-porn' rule,don't ya think?

Are those stories that diffetrent people contribute to ok??... Like I write a paragraph and then you write a paragraph then someone else writes a paragraph??
Isn't that a game? Seems I've heard of it. Sounds interesting but could get confusing if there are not rules. umm..Wonders...Shrugs.
Yeah its an old camp fire game but can be serious and can also be incredibly funny
Yes I will have my own little corner amist redink's dictatorship...do I hear revolt in the distance..
Actually we should see if we could have a community story over at Dinkworld. It's pretty slow over there so maybe they wouldn't mind.
>sigh<
Deja vu all over again...the interactive story back in the day.

I don't know whether DinkWorld owuld be a very good place for a story. It was created as essentially a developers site, was it not? You know, for those who make lot's of d-mods etc.
And the interactive story was fantabulous. Man, I miss that...

Changed Rule 1 slightly. If you revise a story greatly, you may post it in a new topic with 'Revision 2' tacked on to the title or something.
I'm a month late but can you do multi post stories with a chapter per post. Even if the answer is no, I can still make them, you can close them, and people can still read them. So yes or no, Its a win, win situation for us all.

Sorry. I never noticed that.
*Ice comes along in a yellow convertible and squishes the kitties into a nice orange mat.* A job well done.
Argh! That's a post by DraconicDink.
Stop pointing out the blatant obvious, it's meaningless and pointless.

Argh, are you sure? Argh!
Maybe I should sign my posts with Argh...
