Should D-Mods Start with 'The'?
Should the D-Mods listed in the Downloads section start with 'The'? Or should 'The' be added on near the end in parenthesis or something similar? Personally, I can't figure out what the best way would be. Would you be more apt to look for "The Green Voice In My Head" or "Green Voice In My Head, The"?
Well, I don't think that most people would have too much trouble looking for either, though I do think that they would prefer one or the other. Personally I would prefer the first one. I don't like the idea of the being last. We don't do it other words so why with that one? It makes no sense. Oh, welll what can one person when that is the most common way of doing it.
Sorry for rambling one there.

That's a difficult one. I would be inclined to say put it at the end, as seems to be the case currently. Reasons? Well, surely the amount of d-mods that begin with The would lead to a rather crappy looking d-mod list [if you changed the system], don't you think?
The standard in libraries is to ignore 'the' and add if after(in parentheses) if it clarifies.
Mabey I'm just used to it, but I like it that way.

I guess I'd favor putting "the" at the end. That's the standard was to alphabetize titles. If you do, you should probably do the same with "A" to be consistant.
I have put "the" in the title for my DMOD, but without it I find the name justs seems to not flow as well, and it is less grommatically correct. I mean, wouldnt "The Lands of Chaos" sound better than "Lands of Chaos"
I also ignore the "The" in such titles.

Should the same apply to Dmods with titles starting with "A" like "A Town Over"... etc?
Edit: Just realised Paul had asked the same question... I gotta pay more attention

Put 'The' last. If you're in the library, you would look up 'Green Voice in my Head, The'.
Then are we all in consensus?
Then, I hereby declare that you, The, to be banished from the island, fated never to return.

'Ha, banishment? be merciful, say 'death';
For excile hath more terror in his look,
Much more than death. Do not say 'banishment'!
Sorry, too much Romeo and Juliet for one night..

As per the recommendation of most people, 'the' and 'a' have been stricken from the start of all of the D-Mods in a consistent manner. If you notice any inconsistencies, please let me know.
/me thinks about making a crappy d-mod named 'The', just to screw with the system...
There is no built-in rule, everything is manual, so a D-Mod titled 'The' would be fine, because it is essential to the title.
