Lets say i have 0 sprites in vision 0 then in vision 1 i add like 50 sprites and then in vision 2 I add like 50 more sprites. Then in vision 3 i add 50 more sprites. Would this be allowed since none of the sprites from the other vision show up on the other visions. I guess what i am asking is what is the limit on the number of sprites per screen also per a vision?

I'm not 100% sure, but for what I've experienced, the max number of sprites is 100 on all visions added together. Your way of putting 50 sprites on 3 visions each won't work.

Any fool can use a computer. Many do.
Isn't the max 99 sprites in the editor because in-game, Dink becomes sprite #1 and thus, there's a 100 sprites onscreen?

yeah

EDIT: Putting 99 sprites on a screen isn't very wise though. The game may crash and it seems to jam the editor when you open a screen with that many sprites. :/

GlennGlenn doesn't want a custom title.
And therefore toy should use hardenss or not pick sprites as hardness around houses etc etc

Oh, but that's very well possible; you just need to keep track of the number of sprites onscreen

Nope, not very wise. Dink likes to shoot fireballs, and that makes two more sprites: the ball and the shadow.

yeah i am having a problem where i have very close to 99 sprites on a screen but trying to get rid of some of them will result in less detail on the screen. I can't use hardness tiles because i am using different visions and on the different visions there are houses and different places so the hardness is not the same. I am still figuring out a way to use maybe just one big sprite with a big hardness to cover an entire house instead of invisible fences.

Ny recollection is that the game can support ~300 sprites, but you can only place 99 of them... if that's wrong, just ignore me.

Aha! That would explain a problem I had with my dmod. You see I have this dragon that Dink meets and gets missions from throughout the dmod. I made her cave have heaps of gold piles (uncollectable ones) and it kept crashing... So now I know why. Thank you. I can fix that prooblem now.

I like the hardboxer approach to houses and goblin huts. Shame it doesn't do cabins and churches too.
