I am in the United States Air Force and I work with the 66th rescue squadron. My Squadron visits these places and has been through some of the worest things when it comes to war. You have experienced none of this. So, for all you that have no idea what war conditions are like, and have no lived through them, shut it. We are sick of you whining more than us when you are doing it from your warm houses while I sleep in the mud. I know what Iraq is like, and have heard stories of what it was like before our intervention. I am glad I am giving up precious moments of my life to serve over there, so please, quit speaking for us, we speak for ourselves.

in libya, africa, rebels control half of the country. children are born into war. they are fighting at age 15 and 16, and i assume not many soldiers live to be older. both the rebels and the government have been known to rape, cannibalize, and use child soldiers. africa is a country full of chaos. but who gives a shoot about the nig gers.

Merlin, I don't see why Al Gore would have been a worse choice than Bush.. It would have meant no war, better enviroment laws and more consideration of the Kyoto protocol. Bush mostly made laws that only benefit the wealthy, Gore wouldn't have done that..

i don't believe any of this would have ever happened if all countries followed the practice of isolationism as george washington, the pioneer of presidency for the US government today, tried to get our country to be.

WC, Its actually very easy for everyone to be proud of american soldiers, yet hate Bush. You guys are trying to do the good job. Bush is destroying everyones faith in democracy faster than you guys can build democracy. He was not elected, he was selected long before 911 just for mid-east "house cleaning". All of americas allies resent Bush for putting YOU in harms way. Do the good job, but you needn't miss Bush when he's gone. Then you can rebuild bridges, rather than blow them up.

Yo jeremy, have you read the last few posts? I agree, we will shut up when bush stops invading countries most probably because he needs oil! I also respect people like WC and other soldiers out in iraq who are trying to stop all hell breaking loose during this period of instability in Iraq.

Thats not true, if anyone is trying for world domination its bush! There were other ways to overthrow saddam. and also, with what would he bomb us all with? he had no weapons of mass destruction.

Bush still hasn't denied the claim by CNN that he is going into the world's poorest countries in the Middle East and take them by force. His representatives have said "this is a ridiculous claim" but that isn't denying it. This really scares me. I don't know why half of the American citizens voted for Bush in the last election (fellows). The election before that, Bush would have lost to Gore if the voting system was consistent throughout the states. As it was, the votes were still so close that the matter had to be handed over to a board with a relative of Bush's on it! This really scares me. Four years isn't too long to wreak havoc upon the world. Look at World War 2. Its duration was only six years, but it left a estimate of at least 75 million people dead, and countless more maimed, their lives ruined. Everyone saying "keep your nose out of America's business" can go to hell. The American president is the most powerful man in the world. Just to make sure he is, he lives in a big white house surrounded by security armed to the teeth, and sleeps with a suitcase that can launch nuclear missiles at any one of the major world powers, not including America. I only hope he will soon die in his sleep of a stroke.
