Reacting to posts or comments
I would love if there was a way to "Like" a post or a comment.

Clearly, that must be the feature that has been holding back the Dink Network! We could've been bigger than facebook! Everyone would've been dying to be Dinking!
I agree it would could be useful, but I imagine it wouldn't do much for the current level of activity on TDN.
There's always the old-fashioned way of replying with "this post stinks" etc.
that's how you get no real responses anymore and you'll just end up with threads with 2 likes for eternity
even if a question was asked...

You can always 'like' something.
Like just sit back, take a sip of your favorite beverage, belch loudly and proclaim "I like this".
No technology needed. At all.

I figured I'd add my two cents: I don't exactly care about a like feature, but if there's sufficent demand for it... why not.
But I don't think downvoting is a good idea. There are enough conflict occasions in this community. I fear adding something like that would do more harm then good. But that's just my opinion.

I like the idea.
Since most people only write a reply when they actually have something interesting to say - unless you are Skurn (jk jk), it would be nice if people could drop a quick like to show they have been there, read your post and appreciated it.
I would have liked posts where someone asked an interesting Dink programming question and then also liked the reply that answered it, even if I had nothing to add to the thread to be worth a reply.
Simonk's post in the Upcoming Dmods thread about possibly releasing Necromancer this year has only one reply, but I'm sure it would have had a dozen likes at least.
The way I see it, this is not about turning TDN into Instagram and popularity contests. When making dmods is so hard and staying motivated is even harder, reducing the barrier of entry for people to send positive nods to each other doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. And I think many would agree this community often needed and needs some positivity.

wait since when was that video posted in the upcoming list..
Speaking of that upcoming list, I like how Necromancer went from least likely to most likely to be released (except maybe SlipDink's D-Mods, but those were already completed since the list was last updated). Wait actually, this gave me an idea...
