What games have you played recently?
I just finished Shadowrun Returns. Good story, great music, ok gameplay, but it's totally on rails which makes the game feel rather stiffling at times. I've never done any PnP stuff, but it's a cool universe and a cool callback if you liked the old Megadrive/SNES Shadowruns (the latter especially).
More Dink Smallwood than anybody else, I'll bet.
Also Wonder Boy in Monster World (Genesis) and Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded, which I pledged to on kickstarter.

What's funny is that for the past month I haven't played video games at all. I'm expectantly saving for a new computer so I can get Rome 2 though.
That game will change my life.

Right now im playing Goldeneye 007 on a N64 emulator.
Controls are pretty crappy since you cant use the mouse it was built for a N64 controller.

I've been living off of humble bundles and steam sales. For me it's been Burnout Paradise, Fez, Binding of Isaac (with Wrath of the Lamb expansion), and Offspring Fling.
The first two are great if you're into exploring and discovering stuff. You wouldn't expect it from a racing game, but Burnout Paradise *does* have a lot of discovery going for it. I love the open-world map. Similarly, I love Midtown Madness (2 is the only one I've played), simply because trying to get on top of the buildings is hilarious. Fez has puzzles, and you get to decypher things written in a weird blocky script, which I like.
The latter two are high-difficulty games, which push your dodging and platforming skills. Just finishing Offspring Fling is doable enough (which isn't to say that there aren't any tricky levels), but the time trials are killing, especially the dev times. Finishing Binding of Isaac for the first time feels like an accomplishment, especially as you've probably died several times already. However, then it only starts. There are tons of unlockables in there, too, and the game really is different every time, which makes for great replay value.

Not really that many. A couple flash games, and like one game for the touch where I just sort of healed players while they were trying to pk one another(because why not?).
I was thinking of putting the orange box in my 360 and finally getting around to beating half-life 2 but just never felt like it.
Though actually I was playing a lot of League of Legends for a while. Except I was doing terrible because I hadn't played for like two years.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Shadow of the Colossus, Minecraft, Headhunter, and FFX-2
WoW, DotA2, Civ V, Magic 2014 and revisiting Braid.
Haha, wow. Can't believe I just heard you all bring up Wonder Boy in Monster World for Genesis and Shadowrun for the SNES in the same topic. I find them both to be quite underrated and unknown old games. Admittedly they can be kind of hard to get into, but are quite rewarding to finish.
Mother 3.
Dink mostly, Monkey Island and Broken Sword the Sleeping Dragon.
I have been playing a lot (more than I find safe) of Minecraft, from which I randomly alternate between Civilization V and Mirror's Edge.
I hope to get back to Dink soon, I am compiling some videos of D-Mod pieces I have to show you guys.
I've not really been into gaming all that much recently. I guess I've had other priorities. I have played some Anno 1404, Civ 4 and Pro Cycling Manager 2012 in recent weeks.
Also I bought a copy of Europa Universalis 2 a few months ago. It is truely fantastic. Why did I never see this humble bundle before it was too late.

I think I got a key somewhere... I'll send it to you if I find it.

*grin* That seems like a safe bet... I can't even keep up reading your stuff, somehow.
Interestingly, I've only played about 2 or 3 of the games people have mentioned so far... Guess there are too many games to choose from these days.

Terrangima, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Chrono Trigger, Ghouls and Ghosts, Legend of Zelda...
Whoa, don't swing that way, even though you didn't mean it that way. I presume you stated that because I, unlike other eighteen year olds, actually play Snes games.
Bah, the Sega Genesis is where it's at! Sonic, Streets of Rage, Dynamite Headdy, Ecco, Toejam and Earl, Gunstar Heroes, Rocket Knight Adventures, Ristar, Phantasy Star! Sega kid for life, represent! Genesis does what Nintendon't!
I kid. It's funny now to remember the trash talking from back then. The SNES is also awesome, it's just that Sega is what gets my nostalgia going.

Not just SNES games. Great and even rare SNES games (like Terranigma and Soul Blazer). Terranigma was not officially released in America but is one of my all-time favorite Super Nintendo games.
Cocomonkey, Sega Genesis rocks too. The old sonic games accomplished gameplay with fluidity and speed unheard of in that era.

I heard Chrono Trigger was never released in Australia.
Snes emulator
Chrono Trigger rom.
Use Winrar or other .rar file openers to install ZSNES, then open the Chrono Trigger .rar, take the ROM file, put it in the 'Super Nintendo' file (If it exists, if not, then create a file). Next, open up the ZSNESW folder just before Super Nintendo, drag the rom directly over the ZSNES program (NOT INTO THE FOLDER, BUT OVER THE FILE) and the game will play. This will also ensure that the ROM directory will open to where the Super Nintendo folder is every time you open the ZSNES program.
Enjoy the game, I sincerely hope that you have the patience to beat it, and remember, if you have to get on the computer and exit out of the program, F2 will save the state, and F4 will load the state. This means that you can save your game, then load it. This will not save the game as a primary game file, only as the exact moment F2 is pressed. Very useful if someone needs the computer and you're nowhere near a save point.
Also, as a side note, there are a lot of Americans who have played Snes games and still play them. (Insert snide comment here.)

Recently played Dust: An Elysian Tail (really good game) and I'm now playing through Amnesia: A machine for Pigs. On the side I play some Final Fantasy XIV and... Magic the Gathering
MtG FOR THE WIN!
Also, Pred, you're generalizing again. And what happens when we generalize? That's right! You piss off people from exposure to sheer stupidity!
Also, super castlevania 4.

RAYMAN LEGENDS, you guys. God it's awesome.
I haven't been on recently since I've been playing Fable 2 again, though if I get my school laptop then I might be on more.
I prefer the first first Fable.
I too, do like Fable TLC, but at least 2 is better then 3, it's not all that bad, but it's not like the others, though it does progress story.
Have fun, Meta!
I actually bought a used NES and SNES cheap with some games recently, hehe. Some SNES games I love are Chrono Trigger and Super Mario World.
I also play Magic: the Gathering. My current project is building a pauper Eldrazi deck.

I do too But most of you americans prefer Battlfeild or COD or even MOH.
Which all 3 are mostly rubbish.

What is MoH, never heard it before?
Medal of Honor.
Slighty rings a bell, though I don't care for bells. Also I have started to do more work on Banjo Kazooie N&B.
I must remind you, Pred, that all Americans don't like just first person shoot games. I've sat next to die-hard Call of Duty fans and we had a very intense discussion about Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and all of the wonderful awesome games.
Pred thinks the same of all Americans, why waste your words on him Kris?
Because it's fun.
I've been playing Criminal Case,Draw Something and Songpop on facebook lately. And random ho games from Wild Tangent and Myplaycity.com.

You do understand that I said MOST not ALL.
You do understand that I said MOST not ALL.
You usually talk about "all" Americans though, especially in your corrupt topics.
Sorry, your idiocy has conditioned me to think that when you say 'Most' you really mean 'All', because I'm not a retard who can't understand the subtlety of the hate-filled mind.
Wow, that derailed quickly. I don't know what to say.
Fudgsicle.
Fudgsicle.
I'm surprised it didn't derail sooner or why Pred is still a member that has yet to be banned.
ROME 2 ROME 2 AND MORE ROME 2 HAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAUGHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHcough,coughHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
