Alright, time has come for the Recent Release Rumble of Q3 2012.
As there was only one Non D-Mod file released the last three months, it automatically wins in its category. Congratulations to Robj and his completely original song Let's Go Back!
On the D-Mod side of the RRR, Skull's long anticipated epic Historical Hero II: Armageddon goes head to head with the four Throwback contest entries.

The basic rules of the RRR are as follows:
1) You can vote for one D-Mod and for one Non D-Mod file. You cannot vote for two D-Mods or two Non D-Mod files.
2) Voting is done by posting a reaction in this topic with your choice.

4) Only "well known" members are allowed to vote. This means that no ghosts or really new accounts can vote. This is done to prevent people from voting with alternate accounts.
5) Discussion about the files is encouraged. But please, no spamming or attacking other members!
6) The two D-Mods and two Non D-Mod files with the highest amount of votes of each RRR will participate in the Download of the Year Awards for their respective category in february next year.

Dink Gets Bored because it made me laff out loud and i just loved the humor! Hilarious - liked how he lost his "stuff" as well

I'm not going to be able to vote for this one because I haven't played HH2 yet, and I haven't even completely finished all the contest ones either...

Historical Hero II: Armageddon
Great game. Lots of details, which make it better.
Proper language and hardly any bugs, which makes it fun to play.
Dink and the 4 Towers
Nice game idea. I didn't really like that the "towers" (why are towers going down?) were changing; I'd have liked it better if they'd been designed individually and stayed the same.
Also, I was unable to go down from the first floor of the well, which was annoying, because it feels like I'm missing something.
Dink Gets Bored
Cool idea. Slightly too large map, perhaps, but solved in a great way with the warping poles. I think I've almost finished it, but am currently stuck. Then the large map is a drawback after all.
Lost Forest Romp
Cool idea, nicely done. The only problem I have with it is that it's so large, I wouldn't consider it a romp.

Nice dmod with good humour. Too bad it wasn't longer.
And yes, I know I should have written most of this in the contest thread. Ah well.
Anyway, my vote goes to HH2, because I love epic dmods.

Hopefully someday soon I'll find a way to fit them back into my life.I definitely agree about the large map. I had originally planned to do a bit more with it, but even so I think miscalculated somehow, maybe because it was my first time mapping with WinDinkEdit. Anyway, glad people enjoyed it.

The other ones are all good. Skull put a lot of work and effort to Armageddon and that's why my vote goes to HH2!
