The Dink Network

Yeah, it has to do with Dink Smallwood.

In an attempt to get all the gamers on this site together to play games, I decided to make an "OFFICIAL Dink Network Steam Group." Why? I think it would be a fun thing to do when Dinkers aren't dinking to compete for achievements, or blow someone's head off when they get mad at someone at the Dink Network.

Now official. Hope to see how many people on this site have a Steam ID and would like to play some co-ops together on their free time.

Third DN Steam contest -

Once again, I have come up with another Steam contest for us. This one's probably going to be a lot easier provided people actually send in entries. This is the "Christmas Fan Dinktion!"

What is this you might wonder? Well, here are the rules:

1: You must write a fanfiction involving Dink. The catch? You need to work Christmas into it somehow. Yeah, I got cheesy with this one, but for some reason, I get festive around this time. *awkward staring at Absolution*

2: The entries are all to be sent to me at paperclipmage@gmail.com by the 13th or 14th of December. YES, THIS YEAR!

3: The voting will take place after entry-sending-time by... ALL OF YOU! I will post all the entries in a .doc format on my own mediafire account for you all to download and decide on. Voting ends 21st.

Once again, the winner will get a Steam game. I have some money left over, but it's not much. I'll probably get you a 5 dollar or lower game.

The sending of the prize will be on Christmas. So, you still have to wait to open your present.

1,700 words in. Having a lot of fun with this. I've always wanted to do some Dink FanFic, but I never really had the motivation. Thanks for giving me the boost I needed to get started. I'll probably do some more after this, unless the community dubs me a terribad writer and I get sad and become a hermit.

well i already started my entry and after work will see if i can finish tonight f not i will finish it the weekend and see if i'm the first to finish(but knowing my luck i doubt it nor do i mind not being the first.) and i'm looking forward to reading those entries
i can share dink is the main character in mine but really doubt he had to be the main char(because Milder, Martridge, King Daniel, Ethel, Quackers, MR. smilestein and several more could also star the fic as they too are in the original quest)

Merder's and Gantoe's story was nice, but there were some grammatical errors and whatnot. Still, nice stories.

well thanks and those mistakes were due to me not being English myself and grammar checkers work half assed and doubt that'll be changed anytime soon

well if for competitions(regardles if you want to give a price or just for causal fun) the idea for a Spiral knigts contest still is open(as now you can fight each-other and since i run the Dead Dragon Carcass guild we(which is for dinkers) we can host a guild only match but other ideas dunno we already had fan fic and art contests(could be held again but feel more for new ones)

Late news here, but Quiztis (Captain Donut) has been reappointed as my officer. There is no one else for the job really, and he has done a contest in the past. If he has any ideas, I'm giving permission for him to start a contest if he wants to. If I can think of any ideas, I will most likely get to them. But I'd appreciate some more ideas as I think of some, and Quiztis realizes he has his power back.

Woop-de-doo, but it is frickin' annoying to host a TF2 server. No one can join 'cause their ID is for another game for some reason and the dedicated server needs updating all the time. Might have a shot at it again tomorrow.

I'll have at it once this evening. If it is still a messup I will give up on having a TF2 server and stick with Minecraft and Terraria servers.
