Words, words, words..
Words. Wonderful. Worthwhile. They allow you to express yourself in unique ways. They form countless combinations of beauty. They help you understand things. The things they do for us are countless, yet their greatness is overlooked by us everyday.
Show your appreciation for words, and what they've done for every single one of us. In addition, name a couple of your favorite ones.

I like them, I suppose? Even though I do horribly mangle them when I talk.
Fav's? Finit, uber, serendipity, and eh... teh, yeah, that it!

<WC mode>How about "I'm going to stick my foot up your arse if you don't stop posting crap?"

<Alli> Ah, won't he be proud.
Anyways. I actually like French a lot more than English... My favorite French word is "Conscienceiusement", which means "conscienciously." It sounds pretty.
I also like "j'aimerai" which means "I will love"... I've been talking about French a lot on this board lately... O_O

I like Recondite, Miasma, Presage, and Fiat. It isn't like I use them in every-day speech or anything, though.
Edit: Doh, how could I forget 'Frell'?

Rey...I don't get it?? Sometimes I go days without talking and others I can't shut up. Like my old mom used to say:"if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"
I do have some favourite sentances, though.....

Spork... Spork! Spork! Spork! Spork!
Well, Kat, I think words are some of the most unappreciated things in the world. They create languages, even though nowadays languages more often create words. And countless other things. That's just my opinion though. Either way, I just thought words in general deserved some much earned appreciation.
And by favorite words I meant like...words that catch you. When you hear, say, or read them, you're just like, "Wow, that's neat." Or something like that.

I like the word 'comfortable' especially the way Jean Claude van Damme can't pronounce it at all in one of his films!

Hakuna matata.
I know it was in the Lion King - well, heared it was, never saw the movie, but did hear the song - but I knew that years before Lion King ever aired, since I was in Kenia once and all the folks around there said it.
When we got lost in the outback and finally saw a local bus, and indeed managed to stop it, and asked for a lift, the busdriver said: "Yeah, sure, but first we have to fix the gear since it broke again - and that's actually the reason we stopped, not to give you a ride", we said: "Hakuna matata!"
BTW: it means 'no problem'.

Body language is much more understandable than words; for instance, just because someone says some words, you can tell by the way they act or the way they speak if it is really what they are trying to say.
This may be true, but you first use words to define the subject, before you can detect body language well. But to me, words are easier. Besides, body language can vary greatly, but words are usually of the same language throughout the region, making them more universal.
Yey for words!
