My laptop, which I use for basically everything:
CPU: 1600Mhz AMD Sempron, able to switch to a power saving 800 Mhz
RAM: 894 MB DDR, probably 1024 but some reserved for my video "card".
Video card: ATI Express 1100 chipset
Hard Disk: 80 GB internal partitioned into 2 20 GB and one 40 GB piece (approximately). Plus an external one.
Screen resolution: widescreen 1280x800 (max and standard), can handle all standard 4:3 and 3:2 resolutions.
Atheros something-G wireless network card, capable of connecting to 54 Mbit networks.
Extras: built-in VGA and S-Video ports for connecting to beamers, televisions, stuff like that.
Small Firewire port.
3 USB ports.
Internal SD card reader.
Some thingy where I can leave a remote control or special laptop hardware.
