Actually the economy is doing better now. What does that mean for the average joe? Not too much, since the corporations already moved their jobs to a foreign country(like India, which actually happened with a local company in my area). It means we're consuming more and the debt is rising and the corporations are making even more money than before when they were "losing" money.
