If you don't have an account, just leave the password field blank.
I've made a test screen as well. Now it also became inconsistent. So far I was only getting no hardness. The original box was placed on top of cave "edge" tile which has automatic hardness drawn. I wonder if hardness overlaps may trigger this... Though, so far, nothing supports that theory.
