I admit that I do not have any statistics to back the idea up*, but I know personally of several (not particularly technical) folks who have downloaded Dink for their favorite linux distro. I think there is a faction of people who use linux as a low cost OS option who also are willing to try out the free Linux games that are available.
*Is there any way we can find out how many Dink downloads take place from various distros?
