the "experts" are paid off wackjobs. cdc are a bunch of scum. remember how they handled ebola 10 minutes ago? not at all. they are failures and don't have a clue what they're doing.
also, thousands...look into historical data for 6 seconds and realize how much of a basic thing this is and compare reported numbers to the overall population of places they're from. for example, in new york which is a supposedly super contaminated area, 300 deaths...so, much, MUCH less than 1%. like, several zeroes kinda small. but of course, media is gonna tell you how scary it is and to "STAY IN DOORS, WASH. GET NEAR NO ONE!! PANIC, NOW AND PLEASE CLICK OUR ADS FOR HAND SANITIZER!"
someone'll point to florida and say how bad it is there...in a place primarily populated for old dinks, ducking duh? the numbers are higher.
point is, outbreaks happen. this is no different than any other. take the same precautions you always will, regardless of what time of the year it is. you sick? stay the duck out of work/school. drink water. try to sweat, but don't overdo it. basic, basic things. a cough isn't a sign of the end - its a sign of virtually every sickness. you got the specific strain everyone's screaming about? more than likely, you will have little to no symptoms. child or old? gonna be worse. just. like. it. always. is.
