Yeah... That's almost DFMAOB level of dumb design.
Meh, I don't remember ever running into any troubles or frustrations with how the D-Mod was designed. Only thing I remember being kinda off was that it got slightly repetitive after like 3/4ths through. But even then I remember enjoying what it was going for and how clearly each area was separated from one another, with a very established objective. I played it through twice back in the day, and I don't think I even ran into any major bugs at any point during either playthrough.
