I tested it on the 1.08 version and I also noticed, that when you attack in a fight, sometimes you can attack again. I don't know if it's supposed to happen, but if it's normal, then oke 
The pig feed place holder didn't play the animations for me, but then again, it should be a necklace.
You mentioned a screen with a note and an avoca, however, if you're a level lower than 4, there will be no avoca and the trees in the east won't dissapear. Does that mean that it will be necessary to kill every monster in an area in order to advance?
